Community and School Based Behavioral Health Worker - $1000 Sign On Bonus Available!

SUMMARY: To provide behavioral support to the family, child or adolescent in specified areas of social, behavioral and emotional concern and needs that have been identified by the child/youth and family and addressed in the treatment plan. To provide support to the child that facilitates the growth and development of the child. To assist the in the development of therapeutic support skills in the parents, family members, educators, social supports, service providers and others to ensure that such support is maintained for the child as professional interventions are decreased and terminated. To provide case management support to individuals and families enrolled in the program including but not limited to attending clinical team meetings and scheduling coordination or ISPT meetings.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A bachelors degree in a Human Services with 2 years of paid experience in a clinical setting.
Vital Duties: Duties the employee performs that have a major impact on the delivery of services to our clientele
Documenting important information and data in a timely and professional manner.
Providing one-on-one direct intervention with the child and family.
Crisis planning and Intervention with the youth and their family to redirect behavior or intervene in destructive behavior. Specific interventions to stabilize the child or adolescent as stipulated in the treatment plan.
Providing immediate behavioral reinforcements, emotional support, time structuring activities and other psychosocial rehabilitative treatment interventions to engage the youth in appropriate activities as provided in the treatment plan.
Monitoring the effectiveness of services provided to the youth and families.
Provide support in the family's efforts to stabilize the child or adolescent and to promote age-appropriate behavior by working with the family.
Collaborate with other members of the treatment team and other professionals working in the home or in other community settings and participation in inter-agency service planning meetings when possible.
Teach family members to care for child or adolescent.
Advocate for the family or child/adolescent.
Make necessary referrals and transition the family or child to other agencies or services in the community.
Establish methods of communication and coordination with the child, family and other services providers.
Participate as a member of the SAP Core Team.
Attending weekly meetings for a minimum of 2 hours with Mental Health Professional to include training on the following topics:
Discussion of roles in the family
Triangulation in family relationships
Building alliances
Supporting parents
Genogram depicting family history
Ecomaps determining strengths of resources
Areas for advocacy
Mental health diagnosis of identified client and impact on family systems
Community strengths mapping
Transference and counter transference
Role of team in family system
Assisting with the completion on a monthly basis and at the end of treatment Community Care's Child Outcome Survey (COS).
Assisting with the completion of the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) by families and teachers , at admission, quarterly and at completion of services.
PROBATION EXPECTATIONS: Must demonstrate during probation competencies in the following areas:
Working with MH/MR Clients
Working in Family's Homes, Schools, and Community
Proper documentation of sessions including times and intervention
Structural Family Therapy

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
